Our Commitment
We believe that everyone should have equal access to information and functionality. KumawatPulse Technologies is committed to designing and maintaining the Tongue7 website and application in a way that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level. These internationally recognized guidelines provide a framework for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Current Accessibility Features
Skip Navigation Link
A skip-to-content link is available on every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass the navigation and jump directly to the main content.
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements — including links, buttons, and form controls — are accessible via keyboard. No interaction requires a mouse or touch gesture.
Semantic HTML
The site uses meaningful HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists, nav) so assistive technologies can parse and present content correctly.
ARIA Labels
Where native HTML semantics are not sufficient, ARIA roles and labels are applied to communicate purpose to screen readers.
Reduced Motion Support
Animations and transitions respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. Users who have enabled reduced motion in their OS will see minimal or no animation.
Color Contrast
Text and interactive elements maintain sufficient contrast ratios against their backgrounds for readability.
Known Limitations
While we work hard to make the Tongue7 experience accessible, we are aware of some areas that need improvement:
- Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
- Embedded third-party content (e.g., external videos or widgets) may not meet the same accessibility standards as this site.
- While we strive to ensure all images have appropriate alternative text, some user-generated or dynamically loaded content may have incomplete descriptions.
We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across the platform.
